Devin Breazzeal hopes to step into a starting role this season for the Glenpool High School varsity basketball team.
“I am most excited to show people what I can do on the court and learn on and off the court,” said the sophomore point guard, who is coached by Trenton Cantrell.
Breazzeal has worked to improve his game in several areas.
“I think I’ve improved the most since last season in my shooting and defense,” he said. “I would say my strengths are my shooting and my speed.”
Breazzeal, who says his proudest moments as a player have come over the last few years in his ability to step up and help his team, has hopes of playing basketball in college.
He has leaned heavily on AAU coach Jason Fox for his development as a player.
“My biggest influence has been Coach Fox. He pushes me every day to get in the gym and work on my game,” Breazzeal said.
