Christel named to Area Football Players to Watch List – Presented by Redbud Physical Therapy

Kai Livesay – Bishop Kelley

Kai is going to be a leader on the team this season. He is a big and physical player that could play linebacker but is fast enough to play in the secondary. He started through nine games last season but a broken foot ended his season. He will also take over at running back where he had reps the last two seasons, and where he is most comfortable.

Matt Helton – Bixby

An outstanding athlete, Helton has worked hard and is ready to display that on the field. He will have a big impact on the season for the Spartans.

Jaiden Thomas – Booker T. Washington

Jaiden is looking to have a solid senior season. He will be a force at outside linebacker and will cause problems for the opponents.

Ricky Fernandez – Broken Arrow

He is an undersized but dominant offensive line. He will be a three-year starter as a senior.

Boomer Lovins – Catoosa

Lovins is a dominant edge player. At 6’3” and 225 pounds, he is a tough, fast, and physical player that will be a tough matchup for opponents this season.

Skylar Moorman- Collinsville

After a big season last year, throwing for 1,941 yards and 18 touchdowns, he comes into his junior year ready to help Collinsville make a deep postseason run.

Hunter Reavis – Coweta

Hunter is a great kid and an outstanding blocker up front. He graded at 85 percent last season with 10 pancake blocks and he looks to continue to be an impact player this season.

Nevin Jones – Daniel Webster

Nevin is a senior and he leads by example. He is a really good offensive lineman and does all the little things necessary to be successful.

Donte Pegues – East Central

A senior, Donte is an all-around athlete. He plays running back and receiver on offense, while on defense, he is at safety and cornerback.

TJ Christel – Glenpool

Christel will cause issues for opposing offenses. He is a strong and physical lineman that knows how to get in the backfield.

Zachary Fischer- Jenks

Extremely hard worker. Fischer was the next guy in at multiple positions last year. He also played extensively on special teams.

Brayden Holt – Kiefer

Has the frame, size, strength, and speed to play college football. But Holt is also the hardest worker on a team that prides itself in out-working other teams. He quietly goes about his work and puts in the time to be better.

Cael Rector – Liberty

Cael is a two-year starter on the offensive and defensive lines. He returns for his junior year with the opportunity to be an even bigger role player due to his work ethic. He does anything and everything the coaches ask of him.

Jordan Roberson – McLain

Jordan is a great kid and leader. He will be a four-year starter. He works hard, never misses practice, and leads by example.

Isaac Mason – Memorial

Isaac is a hard worker and is a guy that does anything and everything you ask of him. He is at the field working extra whenever he can and knowing he is undersized, he is aware that his technique has to be better than anyone else’s.

Bryce Storms – Metro Christian

Bryce is big and athletic. He loves the game of football and is definitely one of the team’s hardest workers.

Carmello Williamson – Nathan Hale

Williamson is a good teammate and athlete. He is always ready to help out his team any way that he can.

Garrett Salt – Oologah-Talala

Salt is one of the toughest kids on the team. He is always early to everything and willing to do anything that you ask of him. He has played multiple positions in his career and never backed down from a challenge. Garrett is a kid that any and everybody wants on their team. He is also a two-time state runner up wrestler.

Cole Campbell – Owasso

He was a true freshman and started in multiple games last season. Cole works really hard on and off the field. He is a special young man with a bright future.

Ben Nichols – Rejoice Christian

Ben has had a great offseason and spring. He is explosive and not afraid of contact. He looks to be impactful on both sides of the ball this season.

Alex Dudley – Sand Springs

Alex is a returning starter who ended up starting at safety at the end of his freshmen campaign. He was voted a team captain as a sophomore. He has great instincts and speed and is an unquestioned leader in the locker room.

Jayce McIntosh – Sapulpa

Jayce is the epitome of a high character student athlete. Carrying a 4.0+ GPA and starts at linebacker. You can count on Jayce to lead by example on and off the field and he is always giving his best.

Kyle Reckinger – Skiatook

Reckinger is an anchor on the offensive line and does a great job of maintaining the line.

Garyson Garnatz – Summit Christian

Garyson is a very coachable kid and his motor never turns off on defense. He will make a bunch of tackles this year running the ball down from the backside.
